  Meeting the Challenge

AMI Institutes provide programs and facilities to serve the entire spectrum of delinquent youth from truants to serious offenders. Each program is tailored to meet the needs of the communities and states they serve. For many of our kids this is literally a "last chance" before being thrust into the adult criminal justice system.

CWI - Meeting the Challenge
panorama

CWI is a moderate risk residential facility located on 20 acres of land in eastern Charlotte County. The young men served by the program range in ages from 14 to 18.

While our students come from diverse backgrounds, they have failure, frustration and low self-esteem in common.

The Institute serves the specific needs of adjudicated youth by providing them with opportunities in education, vocational and employable skills training and for personal, group and family counseling. CWI's caring and skillful staff provides a motivating environment utilizing special tools that enhance the educational and rehabilitative process. Young men leave the Institute with job placement assistance educational assistance and after-care.
