"9-11" The 11th of September, the terrorists came out to play; And the world has changed forever, since that horrific day. We’ve had many terrorist attacks, throughout the years; But the severity of this one, has caused the most tears. A year ago today, at approximately 8:45; Flight 11 hit the north tower, taking the whole city by surprise. Every channel in T.V., is spreading the news; And as the whole world watches, they become more confused. Most of the people, didn’t know how to react; Probably because they didn’t realize, that it was an attack. At 9:03, most of those people had changed their minds; Because the south tower was destroyed, by flight 175. About an hour later, the 1st tower collapsed; Now the whole world was tense, not a soul could relax. A lot of people believe, that God doesn’t play; They said this was his form, of judgment day. Thousands were hurt, and a lot more died; Thousands panicked, and a lot more cried. It is now a year later, and we are gathered here together; And as we raise the flag half-mast, we will take a minute to remember. To remember the people, who died and went to heaven; And to remember the tragic day, of “9-11” S. Karterouliotis Student Crossroads Wilderness Institute
